There is so much to see and do in this playground throughout the year. It is no wonder that this city was the perfect choice for the 2010 Winter Olympics and so many other major global events in recent years.

It is located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean with panoramic mountain views and is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Vancouver BC is ideal for those who want to escape from harsh winters and visit a more temperate climate, but at the same time have easy access to the world-famous ski resort (Whistler Village) or just minutes to their own ‘Grouse Mountain’, located in the spectacular North Shore Mountains.

Prospect Point

Prospect Point is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Vancouver. This viewpoint is located just below the Lions Gate Bridge, directly on the sands of the Pacific Ocean, and over the water form the beautiful mountains. It is hard to describe the beauty of Prospect Point, but it will be breathtaking.

English Bay

English bay beaches are on the south side of the Vancouver peninsula. It is a great place to walk or lie on the beach. But the main attraction is the beauty, English Bay is on the edge of downtown Vancouver, overlooking the city of Vancouver, next to Stanley Park, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Vancouver Island and the North Vancouver Mountains.

Canada Place

Canada Place is where the cruise ships dock in the summer, and where many congresses are held. You don’t have to go to Canada Place, but you have to walk to the end of the Pier and look at the Pacific Ocean, the mountains and the view of downtown Vancouver. It is spectacular. It is located on the waterfront in downtown Vancouver, Canada Place is home to the beautiful Pan Pacific Hotel, World Trade Center, Vancouver Convention Center, Cruise Ship Port and more which makes it one of the most beautiful places to visit in Vancouver.

Granville Island

Granville Island is the right place for a little shop therapy. It is so easy to lose sight of the hours exploring this particular place. The art shops, the cafe and the restaurants create a great atmosphere which allows you not to spend money unless you want to. You can just wander around and enjoy your eyes in the colourful environment and enjoy all budget fashion. It is an island located underneath the Granville Street Bridge.

Stanley Park

Stanley Park is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Vancouver. I could in no way take the 50 km walk around the park, but instead settled for the quieter view of the aquarium in the park. I thought this was great and appreciated the opportunity to see some of the larger aquatic animals, especially the belugas. In the summer months enjoy the parks beautiful outdoor pools situated alongside the Pacific Ocean.

Capilano Bridge

This is also one of the places to visit in Vancouver for its surroundings were a complete delight. It will take some strength to step on the suspension bridge and cross the ravine and river. A lovely and relaxing walk seeing the world from a bird’s point of view high amongst the trees. The walks in and around here were lovely, followed by a much need rest and coffee in the cafĂ© back over the famed Capilano suspension bridge.

Vancouver’s Harbor

Looking for a fascinating and unusual way to spend an evening in Vancouver? Take a relaxing dinner cruise along the beautiful waterfront of the city. Listen to live music and enjoy delicious Pacific Coast-style dishes while floating through Vancouver’s Inner Harbor. Stroll down the deck at sunset, enjoy a freshly ready buffet and revel in the beautiful sights, as well as Canada Place, the North Shore Mountains and also the West Vancouver skyline after sunset.
